(English Abstract)
To break the hardware limitation and resource constraints mobile devices, Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) is a promising paradigm in 5G ultra-dense networks. Till now, there are quite a few research on mobile edge computing in ultra-dense network. Existing researches of mostly focus on single-tier BS scenario where resource allocation is considered between the mobile devices and MEC servers while ignoring remote cloud computing servers. In order to achieve better performance, a single-tier BS with cloud scheme is proposed which can handle huge number of incoming user requests and reduce the number of tasks failed. Simulation results corroborate the superior performance compared to single-tier BS when offloading computation tasks to edge server in ultra-dense networks.
